The origin of Jedzenie cultural group is in Hclaws. My group of people rely on the river that runs by the settlement. By the river, the land is very arable. Because of this, the people generally settle close to the river for a source of freshwater and a good place to grow food. There are many trees in the area so the people can make log cabins to live in. People can grow their food because the land by the river is very arable. They grow beets, broccoli, cabbage, kale, lettuce, and potatoes. Because the settlement has a cooler climate, the people grow vegetables suited to it. In the river, there is an abundance of tench that the people use for trade. The people of Jedzenie do not eat meat or fish because it is against their religion. The people often spend their time making jewelry out of bones that they scavenge from t9he forests. They also like to scavenge for elk antlers that the elk have shed and dye them with beets so they can use them to decorate their cabins. Most of the interaction between people occurs on the river. Here they will fish, make jewelry and decorations, and congregate. Because there are so many trees, the people cook their food over a wood fire

The religion of Jedzenie is Jedism. This religion focused on finding inner peace, and the religion is interpreted differently by every person because it should cater to the person's own lifestyle. Although Jedism is the main religion of the people, the government doesn't not involve itself with this religion.

The founder is Cholula Japeño, who realized that finding inner peace is the key to a perfect life. Inner peace means to have no conflict within or with others. Cholula spread her religious ideals at the many dinner parties she was invited to (she was a popular person).

There is no written doctrine for Jedism because it is interpreted differently by each person.

People meditate to find inner peace up in man-made nests in trees. These nests are made out of twigs, branches, and any other material around, just like a bird's nest. These nests are big enough for only one person, so each person has there own tree plus a personal nest.

There are no special deities to pray to, but the people revere wild boars, which are the national animals of Jedzenie.

The evidence of Jedism on the cultural landscape is the numerous amounts of nests in the trees.

There are no clothing restrictions or guidelines.

The culture of Jedzenie was kept isolated at first because of its desert and plateau.

Origins: Jedzenie

The culture of Jedzenie was kept isolated at first because of its desert and plateau. edzenie began as a corrupt dictatorship. With improvements in civil rights and political freedom, it has developed into an empire of Liberal Democratic Socialists. Currently, Jedzenie has “excessive” political freedom, and ranks in the top 2% in the world for political freedom. Jedzenie also has excellent civil rights.

The main religion practiced in Jedzenie is Jedism. This religion holds nature and peace at a high standard, and we see that reflected through Jedzenie’s eco-friendliness and pacifism. The government is tolerant of the religion, but tries to separate the religion from state.

Jedzenie’s economy is 66% government based and 34% state-owned industry. The natural resources Jedzenie has are marble, magnesite, and mercury. Jedzenie decided to not mine any of the resources as to not disturb the environment. This means that Jedzenie does not produce anything with these resources and they don’t have a huge impact on the economy. Jedzenie is largely involved in trout-fishing, and trades fish for resources from other nation-states. This creates a large amount of development along rivers because this is where trout are found and also for transportation purposes. Jedzenie has also funded more ecological public transport systems like buses and encourages the use of bicycles. This has led to creation of roadways for buses and paths for bikes. Jedzenie trades fish with Collectiv for medicine and with Cartooum for dental supplies. This has led to a healthy political relationship in which Collectiv, Cartooum, and Jedzenie endorse each other.

Jedzenie is in stage three of Rostow’s Modernization Model, or the Take Off stage. Jedzenie is industrializing and political freedoms and civil rights have improved greatly and are continuing to improve. Jedzenie ranks well in political freedom, inclusiveness, influence, eco-friendliness, employment, and income equality. Although Jedzenie is well-developed in these aspects, it would be labeled as semi-peripheral because its economy is not as well-developed as it needs to be to fit in the World System Theory’s description of a core country.

Jedzenie is one of the most eco-friendly nation-states in HappyValleyGooseBay World. Jedzenie has made ecological choices such as using renewable resources as an energy source. Jedzenie has also put in place policies to protect and preserve the land, and has also chosen not to mine its resources as to not disturb the environment. Jedzenie has also encouraged the use of transportation that is better for the environment than cars. That being said, development has caused some negative impacts to the environment. Development has led to the expansion of cities and the creation of more homes and buildings, which can encroach on the natural world. It has also led to the expansion of bus roadways and bike paths that can encroach on the environment as well.

The great state of Hspookodile started out as the humble settlement of Hcrocodiles- such named for its abundance of animals. Hcrocdiles natives fished for their food. They made nets by braiding dried grass found next to the river and stringing it across narrow parts of the river. By using chiseled tools, the Hcrocodileans scraped the scale off the fish and ate it raw.

Hcrocodileans made elevated hammocks that hung from the trees and were enclosed within structures. The buildings had a structure made out of logs and were covered in large leaves. Beneath the leaves Hcrocodileans line the structure with moss that kept the house warm. Only the houses were made like this though, and other buildings for work and eating are made by digging a large pit and stretching branches over the top.

Every year, Hcrocodileans went on the great crocodile hunt. Those born in the winter were deemed strong enough and only they were allowed to hunt. Considering that Hcrikeans call all animals crocodiles and the point of the hunt was to sportingly kill as many crocodiles as possible, the great crocodile hunt is a massacre of the continent’s fauna. Hcrocodileans wore the finest pelt of last year’s kill to hunt, and if it was the their first time they covered themselves in mud. The crocodiles caught are either thrown into the river to bring a good season of fishing or placed in trees for good rain.

A group of break-off Hspookodileans looking for a less persecuting environment for their season of birth colonized different parts of what is now Hspookodile. They made what is now the extent of Hspookodile’s boundaries.

Hspookodile has a philosophy (rather than a religion) called Kabism. The closest thing to a holy book is a collection of stories that highlight the philosophy’s key ideals in their themes: independence, hard work, and productivity.

Farmerz nation first started out as a very primitive region with no technological advances or means of cultivating the very fertile land.

In the land of Farmerz Nation, religion is free and people can choose to be whatever they would like to be. The outstanding religion of our nation however, is Agricolae. Rooting from the Latin word "farmers", Agricolae is an animistic religion that worships the sanctity of animals and nature and how they benefit the human race. While Agricolae followers worship the benefits that nature has offer, they do not "worship" the animal itself; as the people still harvest livestock and crops for consumption and other meaningful purposes. This belief system does not have a specific founder, though it does stem off of generations of American Indians' respect for the gifts that nature has to offer. Ths religion does not discriminate against those who do not believe in it, but it is universalizing and welcomes anyone who decides to join. The gathering place for this religion takes place every Tuesday in a large field or open space for a basic picnic dinner. When at this meeting place, people come together and eat and praise the animals that gave their life for the health of the people while being jolly and happy with their friends and family.

We the people of Farmerz Nation, after discussing with the rest of the nations in Hcrickee, have determined the boundaries for our nation. Living along the southern point of Hcrickee, we have determined the boundary to be around the river just north of Crocodile Falls and in the southern bend of the plateau. Because all of the nations and regions in Hcrickee are friendly, the border is not heavily guarded so that resources are not wasted. There will be a distinguishing placement of grasses that will make clear where the border stands. There will also be few guards at checkpoints to ensure that nothing is trafficked in or out of Farmerz Nation.

Farmerz Nation

Pigglett used to be simple and unextraordinary. But, it has developed very much over the past year. It has formed a government, a religion, trade, and built up its economy. In the beginning, there was Hscales, Pigglett’s first settlement.

Hscales was located next to the connection of Hcrocodile Lake and Hcrocodile River. Hscales used its natural environment to grow crops near the lake and river. Their crops included kale, lettuce, carrots, potatoes, cabbage, and beets because they can handle the cooler climate. The people that lived in Hscales got their water and a good amount of their food from the nearby river. They would fish for catfish, crappie, and bass. People would also swim in the lake and river nearby.

The people of Hscales would live in log cabins because of the many trees that would grow in the area. They also wore warm clothes because of the cooler climate. Most of them would make their own clothes out of the materials provided by the sheep that they would herd. Since there is a lot of open space near Hscales, there were a lot of shepherds, but they would also take care of other animals, they were just not as important to them as sheep.

The people of Hscales more relied on farming and ranching than hunting and gathering. Their main source of food, as said before, were fish and also potatoes.

Pigglett is very tolerant of other religions, but there is no need for it, since the whole of the Pigglett population is involved in Pigglettism. Pigglettism was discovered more recently, ever since the Winnie the Pooh show was introduced to Pigglett, Pigglettism has been a religion. One day, as if by a miracle, everyone just had the same epiphany that Piglet was the one true god. There is no holy book, because they have the t.v. show instead. Everyday, people who practice Pigglettism (pigglettists), will watch an episode of the Winnie the Pooh show. At the end of the day, pigglettists and their families, will reenact the episode they watched that day, then they gather around the campfire to talk about what lessons they learned from the episode. Their sites of worship are trees. All they have to do is find a large tree, decorate it with Piglet merchandise, and then gather around it in a circle and start worshiping. Pigglett is the most prominent god, but there are others such as: Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Kanga, Roo, and of course Eeyore. Pigglettism doesn't have many rules, but the main one enforced is praying to the gods. They also can't wear pink. There are no foods that are out of the ordinary.

One other thing that developed long ago was Hscales’s language, whose root language was Hheroobic. Pigglett’s language is just one of two branches from Hheroobic, the other belongs to Hcrocodiles. Because of the connection between Hscales and Hcrocodiles through the Hcrocodile River, their language is very similar. Some of the most common words that were used between the two were sun, fertility, happy, to eat, and fish which, for Hscales, translated as bingle, atir, shree, to eat, and crocodile, where, for Hcrocodiles, it translated as bangle, ahteer, shreet, oot, and crocoodile. A few other word that were in common use in Hscales, were fishing pole, lake, friend, cold, and swimming, which translated to cripsee, licetee, feltoot, bolditoo, and doontee.

On Feb.3, 2016, borders were drawn. Jedzenie took initiative and funded the hedge border between itself, Hspookodile, and Pigglett, letting Farmerz put up a passive grass border between them. Farmerz and Hspookodile agreed upon another grass border. Pigglett refused a passive border with Hspookodile and threw up a spear border to keep out Hspookodileans. Despite Hspookodile’s noncommittal borders, it decided to fund a minimal border patrol and rely on harsh punishments for illegals. The first offense of freeloading immigrants would be forcible ejection to their home country. Immigrants that are benefiting Hspookodile’s government will be granted citizenship but kept on close tabs. A second offense will result in enslavement to the state. In Pigglett, people who cross the border illegally will be given a warning until the third offense, then they will belong to the will of Pigglett, and do whatever Pigglett wants to use them for. If someone passes without a passport in Jedzenie, then offenders will be deported back to where they came from. In Farmerz Nation, if someone passes the border, they will be deported back to from where they came from.

 Border Creation

Hspookodile, and Hcrocodile Falls were close enough and connected by the river and such had similar languages. They trade frequently to get a balance of resources. Hspookodile has resources such as gypsum and bauxite while Hcrocodile Falls has uranium and rubber trees. Both of these settlements are in need of each other’s resources, therefore they have built a very good trade partnership.

Crocodile river served as a connector for Hcrocodiles and Hscales, making their language and parts of their culture intertwined. Hclaws was almost completely isolated, but had occasional contact with Hcrocodile Falls and Hscales during the movement of split-off groups.

Language origins has long connected Hcrocodile Falls, Hclaws, and Hspookodile, though.

Political turmoil led to connection between Hclaws and Hscales. People began emigrating out of Hclaws because of political turmoil between elk-antler-scavengers and the farmers. People of Hclaws immigrated to Hscales because of the similarity in environment and availability of water between the settlements. This led to the sharing of traditions and customs between the two cultures.

The countries on Hcrikee (Jedzenie, Hspookodile, Pigglett, and Farmerz Nation) stay independent and work on achieving goals separately. That being said, these regions trade resources and more with each other and are connected in that way.
