Goverment

     In monarchies and tyrannies only one person has the power. But an aristocracy is a small group of smart men leading the government, and was replacing monarchies as they died out. Sparta used a oligarchy and was one of the last to use it successfully, and oligarchy was becoming less common. Than Tyrannies, Tyrannies treated their people harsh under their rule of corrupt governments. Tyrannies were starting by 600 B.C. and became popular around the fifth century. In the Greeks democracy a group of 500 men determined issues, but all citizen could attend the assemblies. This is why the Democracy is still used today. 

Athens

     In athens's democracy men could get paid to participate in juries now, and that was a first time. States financed the growing Athens which lead to the golden age and at this time their was a lot of literature, art, and architecture. By buying land in other states lower class Athens citizens could move up in government, society and economically. Pericles was the greatest statesman of ancient Greek in 450 B.C. and this meant he was highly looked in the Athens civilization Athens occasionally sent soldiers and regulated the other states policies in their area of influence.

Sparta

     Sparta was a ancient greek city that was dedicated to war The city of Sparta was surrounded by mountains on three sides, and on the fourth side, there is the bay of Eurotas River which sheltered them. The climate was good for farming, and they had marble and iron in the mountains. Dorians took over the greek peninsula and the spartans were Relatives of the Dorians. Not a lot of aristocrats owned their own plots of land and only aristocrat Spartans could farm and a lot of spartans had to get state owned plots of land. Helots who were Spartan farmers who had to give half of what they farmed to the owner of the land because they were only renting the land the land. In Sparta when turned boys were 12 all clothing was taken away and none was allowed on them except a outer garment was allowed. They had to get reeds with no tools and use them to make their bed. This is how the spartans formed there children t to fierce warriors.
