Dear John,

Like Mr.Frank, I would have returned to the secret annex because it was a good place to hide from the Nazi and is a hidden spot. In the text it says, “on the right is a bathroom, out of sight, and a center room that is the biggest room”. this is a good hiding spot also because you have a home to live in and a bathroom, bedrooms and a kitchen so basically it is like living a normal life but in hiding, but can’t talk or do anything during the day, but do everything at night.

 Dear John

Knowing that I will probably face the same hardships as the jews, I would be a protector because it would be the right thing to do and if I would have to die,  I would die helping someone else who actually needed my help. Also another reason why I would protect them is because it will help me in some ways by helping people survive the terrible killings that Hitler was doing to the Jews. I’d feel proud for what I did if I were to be a protector I wouldn’t care if I got shot on sight because I would be helping them to stay hidden.

Dear John,

I think it would be harder to get along with Peter because he is a very quiet man and he now protest Anne about losing her shoes and peter starts to yell at her just because she asked him where her shoes were. In the text it says,”Wait until I get you!”. This sounds like Peter is giving Anne a threat just over a simple question about Anne’s lost shoes. Peter is a shy person and so it will be harder than usual to get him to do stuff with other people. He is also older than Anne so he has friends his own age and Anne has her friends. He also doesn’t like to talk to other people.

 Dear John,

Mr.Van Daan was not thinking with a clear mind. He wanted to be done with hiding and continues with his business. I would not get too mad at him in this situation I would be hurt though that we could not trust him anymore while in the hiding. I would have a talk with him and see why he had to steal then rather ask.

Dear John,

Anne changed by being sad then to angry because of the grown ups having their chances in life but anne and peter, were lost. In the text it says,”You grown ups have had your chance! we’re trying to hold on to some kind of ideals”. Also when they first arrived she was thirteen and was not mature and now since it has been a year or so now she has matured and has become more social with peter and now has some type of relationship. Anne is still hoping for some kind of ideal, some happiness in the world.

Dear John,

I think that Mr. Frank made the right choice by not picking up the phone because it could have been someone trying to blackmail them in telling the person on the phone telling him where they are hiding from the Nazi’s. I think that i would have done the same thing as Mr.Frank because i don’t want to give any evidence out that we are in hiding or have any chance of someone getting personal information because just by one simple address could give away that we are in hiding.

Dear John,

I think that is important that people read about anne frank because it can teach people what the jews were like and how they treated people and shows us why we should be thankful for what we have. Another reason why people should continue reading about Anne Frank is because it shows good attitude toward bad things also. By the showing of the hard environment that Anne Frank once lived, tells us that we shouldn’t fuss over little things and complain on not having something because Anne, she only has limited amount of things and that thing is people to talk to during free time or when you get bored that was the only thing you could do.

Dear John,

The quote that Mr.Frank reads from Anne’s diary shows that she is a good person and can withstand all that goes on during the time period she is in. Another important thing why the quote is important to Anne’s memory is because when she is down or sad she can read that quote and bring her hopes up again to raise her happiness. The quote is important to her character because it shows that she is a happy person most of the time, but even though she is hiding in the secret annex with other people she is still a cheerful upbeat person.
